This marks the second consecutive year PLANET has earned this distinction, underscoring its maturity in climate governance, strategic action, and transparency aligned with international sustainability benchmarks.

CDP is one of the most trusted climate management performance evaluations valued by international investors. The latest questionnaire aligns with IFRS S2 climate-related disclosures and incorporates frameworks such as TCFD and TNFD, while expanding requirements on transition planning, financial impact, biodiversity, nature-related issues, and plastic risk management. Despite stricter evaluation criteria, PLANET maintained its leading performance, reflecting a high degree of maturity in governance structure, carbon reduction strategies, and risk management.

To navigate the operational challenges posed by climate change, PLANET continues to drive a low-carbon transition by disclosing carbon inventories and reduction achievements through CDP, while identifying regulatory and physical risks to strengthen resilience. The company also evaluates potential impacts such as energy depletion, resource scarcity, extreme weather, and rising sea levels, turning challenges into green economic opportunities.

In 2025, PLANET officially committed to the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) to ensure its carbon reduction actions align with global climate goals. It has obtained third-party verification for ISO 14064-1 greenhouse gas inventory and ISO 14067 product carbon footprint inventory. Additionally, under a collaborative model, PLANET has assisted 11 suppliers in implementing low-carbon and smart upgrades, creating a collective force for industry-wide sustainability.
