PLANET and TAICCA Sign MOU to Promote “ESG for Culture” and Implement a Blueprint for Cultural Sustainability

PLANET Technology, a global leading IP-based networking company, has officially signed an MOU with the Taiwan Creative Content Agency (TAICCA) to further deepen collaboration between enterprises and the cultural industry and promote the concept of “ESG for Culture,” opening a new door for shared prosperity and cooperation between business and culture.

Established in 2019 by Taiwan’s Ministry of Culture, TAICCA plays a key role in driving the growth and global reach of Taiwan’s cultural and creative industries. The MOU was signed by PLANET’s Vice President and Chief Sustainability Officer, Christine Hsu, and Chairwoman of TAICCA, Sue Wang, on behalf of both parties. They jointly affirmed the results and blueprint for integrating cultural promotion with corporate sustainability.

Bridging Business and Culture: From Family Day to Festival of Arts
In June 2025, PLANET and Contemporary Legend Theatre organized the “Happy Arts Journey” as part of PLANET Culture & Family Day. From the Peking opera classic “The Monkey King: Havoc in the Dragon Palace” and face painting to African drum performances and more, employees and their families were able to experience diverse art and culture naturally through the lens of sustainability, creating lasting memories.

Additionally, PLANET has invested resources to support the “2025 CLAP Summer Art Festival” by Contemporary Legend Theatre from July to September, while also funding the construction of the “Legendary Garden,” a space for art and cultural performances in the theatre park. The space combines classical charm with modern functionality, providing an immersive, creative stage for performers and creating a comfortable viewing experience for audiences, demonstrating PLANET’s long-term commitment and deep investment in cultural preservation. Simultaneously, PLANET focuses on the cultivation and nurturing of artistic talents. Its support for performance spaces, creative exhibition opportunities, and art festival activities contributes to local cultural development and fosters the next generation of artists.

Integrating Culture into Business to Strengthen ESG Impact
PLANET's practice of the value of “altruism and mutual benefit” brings to life the vision of “Truly Benefiting Society with Culturally Aware Technology.” With long-term investment in carbon reduction, sustainable supply chains, education, and cultural promotion, the Company has won first place in the “Excellence in Corporate Social Responsibility Award” among mid-sized companies from CommonWealth Magazine for four consecutive years since 2021, affirming its leadership in sustainable governance and social impact.

The signing of the MOU with TAICCA is a concrete action for PLANET to practice "corporate social responsibility" and "cultural sustainable development," and also echoes the emphasis on culture and humanistic care in the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Christine Hsu expressed, “Culture is not just an idea, but an existence that can be felt and experienced. When companies allow culture to become part of their lives, employees and families become the starting point of cultural resonance, and sustainability is transformed from vision into practice. We hope more companies will join in the future, allowing the power of culture to continue resonating among people and becoming a genuine support for the sustainability of enterprises.”
