In response to climate change issues, PLANET targets to reach carbon neutrality by 2050 so as to better protect the environment. For the network product innovation, the company’s world’s first renewable energy network management system, which utilizes the natural power resources such as solar, wind or hydropower to help eliminate carbon emissions in remote network applications, has earned the company the 2021 Taiwan Excellence Award and 2021 Computex Best Choice Award. The ‘Excellence in Corporate Social Responsibility Award’ organized by CommonWealth Magazine is by far the largest CSR and ESG performance evaluation designed for Taiwan’s companies. It is benchmarked to international standards of the OECD Guidelines for Multinational Enterprises, Dow Jones Sustainability Indices, and the UN 17 SDGs. To be eligible for this award, each company must make profits for at least 2 years in the past 3 years, and outperform in the 4 main criteria: Corporate Governance, Corporate Commitment, Social Involvement, and Environmental Sustainability. Winning this award once again, it recognized PLANET has never ceased to optimize its business value via strong ESG practices to help achieve a better society and a sustainable earth as a whole.
