Check for any loose connections and make sure the phone has been installed properly. For the Installation instructions, refer to our quick installation guide. Check whether dial tone is present in one of the audio modes.
Switch between the handset, headset (if available) and handsfree speakerphone to check whether the dial tone is present in one of the audio modes. If the dial tone exists in another audio mode, connect a different handset or headset to isolate the problem.

A :

Please use a general phone that does not support HD voice. When this general phone calls to the VIP-8030NT, the voice of the VIP-8030NT is ordinary, but the general phone’s voice is high definition. User can hear the difference between them.

A :

The auto reboot function is in Network->SNTP setting. In default, auto reboot function is disabled. If auto reboot time is set up at 2pm and enable it, the VIP-8030NT will auto reboot at 2pm every day.

For this function can on time work, at first please confirm SNTP does enable.

And go to Feature->Alarm confirm current time does correct.

After saving the setting and rebooting the VIP-8030NT, user can check the register status under the "Status" item.

A :

Press the Menu button -> [Administrator] -> [Default setting] -> Load Default to reset the VIP-8030NT to default.

A :

To reset the IP address to the default IP address “192.168.0.1” (LAN) or reset the login password to default value, press the reset button on the front panel for more than 5 seconds. After the device has rebooted, you can login the management Web interface within the same subnet of 192.168.0.xx.

[Note] After pressing the “Reset” button, all the system data will be reset to default; if possible, back up the config file before resetting.

[For IPX-2100 / IPX-330 / IPX-2500]
In Trunk item, create a new trunk for VGW-800 Series.
Host: VGW-800 Gateway series IP address.

In outbound route, please create a new dial rule. In this new dial rule, please select the Trunk you just created. In custom pattern, assign your outgoing plan. In here, we deleted 1 digit. (our outgoing prefix). So, our outgoing dial rule would be [9] + outgoing number, and we will delete the [9] and only send the other outgoing number.

To change the settings, please click on Activate Changes to make modifications effective!

In extensions item, create a new extension for VGW-800 Series.


[For VGW-800 Series]
In route plan, please press Modify Route Plan. In primary route, please choose the Outgoing Type to FXO.
