Before dialing out, press the correspondence line number you want to use. For example, if user wants to use Line 2 to dial out, please press Line 2.

NOTE:There are 4 physical lines for the VIP-5060PT. The 5th and 6th lines must be established by the Function Key Settings.

Before we start, please be reminded your IPPBX must also support BLF function.
In Function key / Ext. Key.
Type: please choose Memory Key
Value: your BLF extension
Line: choose which line you want to use for the BLF function
Subtype: BLF
Pick up Number: choose your IPPBX to pick up code + extension number

[In IPX-2100]
For extensions, please create a new account and remember their user name and password.

[In VIP-5060PT]
On the VoIP / SIP page, please follow the messages below:
SIP line: choose the line you want to register
Server address: the IPX-2100 IP address
Server port: Server register port default is 5060
Authentication user: 800 (the extension you create in IPX-2100)
SIP user: (the extension you create in IPX-2100)
Display name: the name you want to display on phone screen when pressing the line button.
After saving the modification, the “successfully registered” status will be displayed.

[For IPX-2100 / IPX-330 / IPX-2500]
In Trunk item create a new trunk for VGW-400 Series.
Host: VGW-400 Gateway series IP address.
Mark Without Authentication

In outbound route, please create a new dial rule.In this new dial rule please select the Trunk you just created. In custom pattern, assign your outgoing plan. In here, we deleted 1 digit. (our outgoing prefix).
So our outgoing dial rule would be [9] + outgoing number, and we will delete the [9] and only send the other outgoing number.

To change the settings, please click on Activate Changes to make modifications effective!

In extensions item, create a new extension for VGW-400 Series.

[For VGW-400 Series]
In route plan, please press Modify Route Plan. In primary route, please choose the Outgoing Type to FXO.

In SIP Trunk Page
Register Type: Register
Proxy Server: IPX-300 / IPX-2100 / IPX-2500 PBX’s IP address
Proxy Server Port: 5060
Tel. No: extension number in IPX-300 / IPX-2100 / IPX-2500
User ID: extension number in IPX-300 / IPX-2100 / IPX-2500
User Password: extension password in IPX-300 / IPX-2100 / IPX-2500
Display Name: extension name in IPX-300 / IPX-2100 / IPX-2500

To reset the IP address to the default IP address “192.168.0.1” (LAN) or reset the login password to default value, press the reset button on the front panel for more than 5 seconds. After the device is rebooted, you can login the management Web interface within the same subnet of 192.168.0.xx.

NOTE:After pressing the “Reset” button, all the system data will be reset to default; if possible, back up the config file before resetting.

If your office accesses the public network through router, you can put Planet IP PBX before the router. You should connect the WAN port of the IP PBX to the LAN port of the router.

Normally, two sets of the IPX-2100 are located in different places with different IP addresses for Internet access.

For external line configuration, you must use public IP address.
Take the following instructions as an example:

Register the IPX-2100-B IP to a trunk of the IPX-2100-A with authentication.
Configuration Rule:
1. IP Phone registers on the IPX-2100-A as extension 601.
1. Another IP Phone registers on the U50-B as extension 801.
2. IPX-2100-A IP:192.168.1.100.
3. IPX-2100-B IP:192.168.1.200.
4. Extension format of IPX-2100-A: 6XX.
5. Extension format of IPX-2100-B: 8XX
6. Create an extension 888 with password 123456 on the IPX-2100-B.
7. All extensions on the IPX-2100-A can call extensions on the IPX-2100-B with format 8XX.
8. All extensions on the IPX-2100-B can call extensions on the IPX-2100-A with format 6XX.

For detailed steps, please take chapter 8.2 as reference.

Two sets of the IPX-2100 before router

Sometimes the IPX-2100 doesn’t have a public IP address, and you have to configure port mapping for your router.

Step 1: Configure the mapping rule of the IPX-2100-A on the router.
The IPX-2100-B is connected behind the router, and registers on the IPX-2100-A through internet. You need to configure the port mapping of IAX2 port (4569) on the router. Then, all data received from eth0 port of router(192.168.1.100:4569) will be sent to the IPX-2100-A.

Now, take the web management panel of the AND-4100 router as an example.
In here both UTP and TCP must open for IP PBX.

Step 2: IPX-2100 Configuration
Configure the trunk and dial plan on the IPX-2100-B, and register the IPX-2100-B IP to the IPX-2100-A. The configuration is the same as the above, but you have to replace the public IP address with the internal IP:192.168.1.21.

Step 3: Configure port mapping rule of the IPX-2100-B on the router
Configure port mapping of the IPX-2100-B on the router according to Step 1.

Step 4: Connect two sets of the IPX-2100 and make the call
Create extension 601 on the IPX-2100-A, extension 801 on the IPX-2100-B, and create the correct outbound rule.

Note: Public IP must be provided by network provider. It could be dynamic IP address, and easy to change; you can resolve this problem by using DDNS.
