Applying Split-core Current Transformers to Smart Power Meters
The PLANET CT Series split-core current transformers can be connected to PLANET smart power meters with a 333mV CT input, including the SPM-D01-M and SPM-D05/D10 Series. Their split-core design allows the sensor to be installed around an existing conductor without disconnecting the cable, simplifying installation in electrical panels and retrofit projects. With rated current options of 60A, 100A, 200A, 400A and 600A, the series supports current measurement for various electrical loads in energy monitoring, power management and building automation applications.
